Introducing Needle & Thread Pre-Fall ’24 — a romantic, enchanting collection inspired by Beethoven’s love letters to his “immortal beloved”. Capturing the heartfelt sentiments of the missives handwritten by Ludwig van Beethoven himself in the late 1800’s, every dress in this collection shimmers like the emotions penned on paper.

Love hearts are a lead motif used throughout the collection — from heart-shaped sequin clusters and ribbons to tulle heart frills cascading down flowing skirts. Meanwhile the hand-written line: “ever thine ever mine ever ours” adorns a sequin-embroidered border.

Dramatic, show-stopping gowns feature striking details such as layered, detachable capes, off-shoulder necklines, sheer sleeves and high-low hemlines. The party edit introduces fitted, smocked and rouched silhouettes in micro sequin stretch mesh, alongside playful coordinated sets and knitted separates in wool, cashmere and floral rhinestone embellishments. With a chic colour palette of juniper, sage, olive, lilac, baby blue and caramel, the collection also includes two new prints: Immortal Rose and Paradise Garden.
